Our Volunteers Are All Superheroes
Oysterfest depends heavily on the generosity and dedication of its volunteers to run a successful festival but our regular stalwarts can't shoulder all of the workload on their own so we are always on the lookout for new superheroes to test out their powers.
Volunteers are essential to the smooth operation of many aspects of the festival and make a difference to how much visitors to Oysterfest enjoy their experience.
A wide variety of volunteer skills are needed to help out with tasks such as:
Coordinating entrants in the competitions
Assisting with special ticketed events
Setting up for demonstrations
Helping performers prepare
Identifying and reporting potential safety issues
Supplying information to festival attendees
Conducting surveys
Site setup and styling
Entrance gate staffing
Street parade marshalling
